Boy do I feel dumb- ***Burning & Smoke Involved***

reoiled the K&N, and cleaned my intake out on my AEM cai the other day, and when I reinstalled, i forgot to put the coolant reservoir back in the slot

. So I'm driving down the road, and smoke starts pouring out my hood, and smells like complete ***. Ooops, I left the tank sitting on my header! >

Big doopy mess of coolant and plastic. And the local junkyards have no 94+ Integras on their lots...

Would I be correct in assuming there is no other coolant res that will fit into that bracket??? Anyone know if there is another model with the same tank?

Most of the honda's should be thesame. Try looking for a civic reservoir or just go to the dealer and get one. They shouldn't be too expensive. But I am 99% sure the civic one would work.

just get another one from acura or better yet A&H if you can't locate one.

PS..i did the same thing..don't worry about it. at least my resevoir looks new now..lol

Funny I've done that twice, but thanks to the heat shield it didn't burn all the way through.

I figuered the dealer would want like $50 for it....

I did that also....i used silicone to seal it up which kinda helped..it would still leak but not as much..it got me through for a while until i just got a new one...

I still haven't gotten a new one, I check the fluid level, it's always right up there, I just aimed the hose at the ground in case soethign needs to get out....

No biggie, i found them online for $30.00, also a gatorade bottle with a ziptie, is a wonderful temporary fix. I have seen these in rally cars
