Default SOHC Greddy Turbo: 2.5" Exhaust or SRR FD?

ok i pulled what i think are shitty times with my greddy setup yesterday. right now i'm stuck between getting a new exhaust to replace my crappy stock one, or ripping out my dx tranny (put it in temporarily wen my ex/si went out) and buying an SRR final drive to throw into another ex/si tranny and putting that in. which would be more beneficial for me? i've been planning to get a new exhaust for a long time to free up all that power i'm being robbed of, but after going to the track yesterday, i realize how bad the gearing really is. i know the new tranny and FD would definiately improve acceleration down the 1/4 and my car would still be quiet (stock exhaust) which i kinda like for daily driving. the new exhaust would free up alotta power but i dont know if the power gains will outweigh the better gearing. keep in mind i pulled a 15.001 in strong headwind with a dx tranny. just looking to get over that frustrating bump into the 14s. thanks

An exhaust setup will be a lot cheap then tranny as you know.

I'd do whichever you had the money for.

You can always run open downpipe at the track

well not alot cheaper. used ex/si tranny can be had for 150-225. plus i have one sitting in my garage that i may be able to repair. just need to tear it apart. only thing i really need is some time and the SRR FD
