I just recently bought a used 93 accord dx....I have noticed when I drive it around and push the rpms pretty high before shifting...the exhaust seems to make a popping noise when i shift gears. And for about the next 10 minutes after ive turned it off...it makes that same noise when I start it up. Help would be appreciated, thanks..

 

That's okay, it's just a little extra unburned fuel that explodes further down the exhaust. Not to worry.

Not really, the ECU is programmed that way so that you don't feel too much jerking of the engine.
