if you can find a used vortech or can get some more money that would be a very good option to take, just bolt it on and go. or a jrsc if you want more torque. i personally would build up a custom turbo kit with 3 grand and you will have the same power as the vortech but with the option of turning up the boost(thats good and bad)

On the stock boost setting you should be putting out around 200whp.. depending on ur car's weight that could get you in the mid-high 13s, but times are always hard to predict.

Since you want to be street legal your choices are Greddy turbo kit or jackson supercharger.

I'm not sure if vortech is carb legal or not. I wouldn't buy a vortec unless you want might end power only.

Turbo setup can be very reliable, but you have to keep up on them. Requires lots of maintenance.

Supercharger requires let upkeep and less maintenance overall.

If 200whp is enough for you then go Jackson. If you want more than 200whp, go greddy turbo with IC.

yeah i think i'll settle with a 200whp supercharged b16a hatch, having a 13 second "street legal" car is my goal actually. i dont really need a freakin monster motor. what about h22a?
