Default URGENT - electrical problem - in the middle of a swap

i'm the middle of the swap, so i need help URGENTLY. i've swapped a d16z6 into my 90 civic. i'm using the z6 ecu and intake manifold. when i turn the key to the 1 position, the radio comes on and everything is fine. however, when i turn the key to the 2 position, the "check engine" light flashes really fast and the main realy goes crazy clicking really fast. any ideas what it might be?

make sure all your grounds are on and tight
batt to chasis
batt to tranny
engine to chassis

sounds like you have the chassis grounded but not the engine

Also check the ground wire on the thermstat housing.
