Project Bling BLoud-my new valvecover!!??(56K is okay)
Sick of seeing my old cover plus it got some mad scratches on it after turbo installation. I was going to polish that sh_t but got lazy.
here some pic of project bling bloud
I start out taking that pos out, spray the inside with degreaser, rinse and start spraying aircraft stripper on the valve cover.
striped out both coat of paint(stock=silver)
took me almost an hour to clean up all the little blemish here and there.
sand down and clean up with wirebrush and toothbrush.
melts like 2 pairs of gloves, everybody using the aircraft stripper should be carefully, that sh_t burns bad.
the grease is to cover the letter from getting painted, I'm still waiting for the clear coat to dry. the overspray
on the block is removed of course, my 10 dollar project

It's a f23a4 aka 6th gen 4cyl vtec engine.
The stupid red paint is the masterpiece from me and cousin.
LOL..the tape came off i guess, but it's fine now, aircraft stripper took it right off.
it;s not inside of the block just the surrounding, fuel rail, etc.
kind of pita to remove the oem silver paint but it's worth it.

Most of the paint on the letter/texts came off without a fight, i end up using my blade to shave off some little spot

i bought that exact same brand of paint yesterday to fix up this tiny *** scratch on my rim, black rims really suck, because they're prone to rock chips and what not...
