Any Bay area shops that do H22 swaps
I was wondering if any of you people in here were from the bay area in cali, and knew of a good place to get h22 swap done. I do all the work on my own cars, but my lil bro is getting an H22 swap, and in order to keep the startup warrantee, it has to be professionally installed, and we want to make sure it runs perfect from the get-go.
we already have the motor mounts, and the swap package should be comming with everything, including shift linkage. And the ACT modified street disc with heavy duty pressure plate is being shipped.
If anyone knows of good shops that do h22 swaps, please let me know. Also, there are no worries about extra crap like P/S or A/C as there are no belt driven accessories, just alternator, since its going into a gunmetal 93 CX hatch.
The suspention is taken care of, as are rims and tires, and there are no visual mods other than the m3 mirrors. Its simply a race car. Thanks a bunch

Epic Images Sucks ***. I went there one time, and my car was almost stolen in the parking lot by some mexicans at the next store over. Plus, they are mad overpriced on everything. I know you have to make a profit, but they charge like 25bux for dome lights. I drive by that place every day because it is in Santa Rosa, and they almost always have the riceyest cars outside. Plus, its the size of a shoebox, parts everyhwere, some of the **** was damaged, and theres like 3 people in there, nobody even wants to help the customer unless they know you. They stay in business selling altezzas and Vinyl Graphics to ricers.
My buddy just had his LS/turbo tuned at DSR and got 270wheel HP after hondata was tuned at 7 or 9psi. With the aquamist setup and everything else he could run more boost, but his power curve was bumped out nicely and no power dip after the OBD1/hondata setup.
Found a place that will do the swap for 600-800labor and have the car out in 2 days in Santa Rosa, so I will probably be going with them. I would do the damned swap if i had a lift. Already have all the pnumatics and stuff, just nowhere to do the ****. It's fun to do your own work, but for full engine swap it just isn't practical in the driveway.
Thanks for the input though.
