I just want someone to reaffirm to me that any auto D-series tranny will work on an auto equipped car (aka an auto tranny from an EF will bolt up and work on an EG civic). Are there any connections or anything I need to change??

Sorry that hardly anyone here bothers with auto trannies.

To get you a bit closer they will bolt up to each other, but as far as actual connections and whatnot I'm not sure.

WHY do you ask?

 

I know noone likes them and neither do I but I don't yet have the money for my H22 swap and I need to get this car on the road again. My local junkyard has alot of auto trannied EF 4 doors sitting around and I figure it would be cheap at $50 to just pull one out there and use it. hopefully someone will know the answer. not sure, you need to check the compatiability of axles, maybe IM that one we call eg6ajk ?
