you have to drill out the spotwelds around the edge & the inside of the door.
but i would leave that to a body shop, why toss $$$$$ in the trash.

How about how difficult it would be to replace an entire door? Like if I wanted to pick one up from a pick and pull. Would wiring all the power door locks and that type of **** be hard?

A junkyard door would be pretty easy. Just unplug the wire connectors, no need to cut wires.

Door swaps are pretty easy. The hard part is finding the right color and having to get it painted... unless you like mis-matching doors...
There are a billion wrecked Hondas out there but usually the exact part you need is never at a local junkyard.

Im looking to replace my driver side door with a door i picked up on ebay for $40.
the door i got is just as new. no dents or scratches, I went to pick up the door & i had to take it off the car. so i just cut the wires in the door jam.
the dumb a$$ guy i got it from blew the engine so i offered him $40 for the door & $50 for the rims with brand new tires. Im just not sure how easy it is to swap the door. local shop will do it for around $50.

well you can still salvage the wires, you only need 1 set of wires, and their already in your car, the ones fromt he junkyard door arent neccesary....and if you fucked them both up for some reason, and you knwo how to u wire strippers/caps it should be a breeze.

so what exactly is the process for removing/installing a door? Anyone have any pics or diagrams? I would probably have the whole thing repainted.

I would start by removing the inner door panel. After you do that i got my digi cam & took a picture of all the wires so that i know how to reroute the in the new door. This will really help.
Disconnect all plugs & cut all the tabs that hold the wires to the door pannel, DONOT CUT ANY WIRES.
If you want the window out of your old door, Take it out before you disconnect any plugs & dont forget to remove your door lock also
Now all you have to do is remove the 4 bolts from the door hinges. You may need a buddy to help hold the door, Its not really that heavy.
After the door is unbolted then just pull your wires out of the end of the door. Thats it.
Now putting the new door is all up to you

AFTER YOU INSTALL YOU NEW DOOR, TAKE WHAT YOU DONT NEED OUT OF YOUR OLD DOOR & SELL IT ON EBAY.

You can make about $70 on all the parts.
