Suggestions for removing intake manifold?
Okay, I asked this last week; but I am going to attempt this again this weekend and wanted to see if people had suggestions.
My main problem is reaching the bolts on the bottom side of the intake manifold. I know I can try using a really long extension, but wasn't sure if anyone had other suggestions.
Thanks.
P.S. I've looked int he Helms already for help.

I used a short 1/4 ratched with a universal and two different length extensions, depending on which bolt it was. Prepare to spend an hour or two with it, and be patient, it is not impossible.
on myskunk2 manifold, I can get to all of them without extensions. just need to take out the intake.
but extensions and air tools make a big difference

I can actually do it all from the top. I reach under the manifold from tha passenger side and a ratchet. I have pretty small hands and arms though.
Should be about a 45 minute job once you get the hang of it.
