98 Accord Transmission Failure
98 Accord internal transmission failure (60,000 miles). I've notified dealer that transmission stalls and a very loud noise is heard while driving from rear and bottom since approx 20,000 miles. Dealer records do not show my complaints. Maintenance records show my complaints at 40,000 miles (after warranty ends - coincidence?). American Honda does not return my calls. What to do?

sorry to hear. but chances are they won't warranty it.
if there were maintenance complaints before the warranty period they for sure would.
but that's a reason why honda sucks. 36,000 miles for a warranty is nothing. if honda builds such good cars, why can't they warranty the powertrain upto at least 50,000 miles+. when cars like hyundai offer a 100,000 powertrain.
