i just wanna be sure if i have to drain the rad before i start converting to mpfi ?

did you guys do it ? or did you just unbolt the dpfi mani and slapped the mpfi mani on without draining the coolant ?

 

i think you have to, otherwise it would overflow over your block...kinda like a beer funnel... not 100% sure though...

 

Drain some of it for sure. Then you won't have a big coolant mess. It won't hurt anything....

oh yeah my mpfi manifold didn't come with an Si TB but i did get a 89 teg TB i put it on and it fit perfectly but the plug for the TPS is different so i got the matching plug for it. it still three wires!

it will still work....right ?

 

As long as its the same 3 wires, yes.
