i have a 91 si hatchback and i am going to make a custom wide body kit with some sheet metal because of rust on rear quarters and rocker panals. i wanted to know if anybody has tried this before? and if anybody has any pics of this metal or fiberglass? for some ideas, i'm going to cut out all my fenders and weld the wide fenders and side skirts in place and also extend my wheels out.

also i have heard about rust forming where the rear trailing arm meets the body and the floors rusting out is this at all true??
