What parts of the 97 are you using? The whole thing?
I dont think that you will be able to use everything.
If you can you will still need to get it recharged and
that is at least $200. You live in WA.....roll down your
window the week it gets hot hear.

More than likely its not. The 92 compressor still uses r12 and the 97 will use r134. It can be converted over to r134 but my guess is that there is a diff. other than the refrig. that each uses. HTH
