I didn't see Adam's NSX run, I over heard someone saying that it ran 8.7 in Cali, bt canyt confirm.
Lip's car sounds mean, I'll let him tell you all about that, I got one of his runs on video. It was... uhmm... less than spectacular.

when i figure out how to upload it...i'll show. but i'll show a clean pass not me nearly crossing the centerline at every gear shift due to a broken passenger side axle
crappy weekend. here is a copy of what i sent to someone asking me.....
so far i haven't made a good pass.... only 3 runs actually down the 1320. The best pass was the very first one. but my 60' time was 2.1(3-4tenths slower then last year)and i missed third etc because my pressure plate broke....but it still ran 12.8 @109mph. i see its potential...now i just have to work out the other crap.
first run was no run this weekend. broke both axles at the line. snapped the drivers side at the hub(the shaft itself)and the passenger side was a joint. Put her back together. Made another run but did not like this quaife gear set one bit that was temporarily put in there til my tranny was ready. first of all even with decent torque i can't really utilize the long first gear. My mph seemed to increase by 1.5mph in the 1/8mile to like 87mph...but my time was really hurt at the start and up top by not hitting my power band. besides me not coming out hard because i only had like 3 axles with me....i had a horrible 60' but i could still tell i would't be able to power 60mph in first gear like the turbo guys do. not at this weight anyway. well...after this 1st gear my rpm's only drop about 800-900rpm per shift. takes me all 5 gears and i missed 5th not reallizing how damn far of a throw that is. so a bad pass but i'm learning. it was 10:30pm at this point friday and i couldn't run anymore. saturday i got out there and broke the passenger side axle at the line. found out the z10 traction bar was way too tight on the passenger side. didn't know that til it was time to replace that axle. no clue why it was like that either. oh...and i didn't know i broke the axle until every gear sent me from the middle of the left lane to the center line. So i replace THAT axle and adjust the z10. i go into the staging lanes and it started to rain. pulled the car into the pits and wound up leaving. i heard they dried the track late that evening(i mean it was like flooded)but 3 cars wrecked and that was that and nobody really ran. sunday was a wash out and the event was canceled and of course a few hours later after canceling everything dried out nicely. So...that was that. I'll be out there this week testing again with the tranny that should have been out there in the first place.

Good job lip. 109 mph is good for low 12's and with a little more tuning even high 11's. I didnt' even bother going to e-town after hearing that cars get stolen out of that lot. After paying $$ to get in I figure they would have good security. But I guess not. Don;t worry lip you will sort out the problems and go FAST.

The next couple of weeks will be re-learning how to drive your car to get the most out of it, and figuring out the best way to go to get it all to stay together .....
109 on a 2.1 - 60' is some SERIOUS power there ..... you will probably see 112-115 once you get the drivetrain figured out! High 11's once you get it dialed!
I'm psyched for you, hope I get an oppportunity to see you run!

are you using the Kaaz (Nismo) axles? I was thinking about getting those from Mike as insurance.
sorry to hear about the gremlins but to run a high 12 with all that trouble must be re-assuring. One place of solace you have to be looking at is the fact that the engine ran well. As Rick says, once the tranny. pressure plate, and axle stuff get sorted out, they'll have to issue those special glasses they give out to the crowd during a solar eclipse because you will be blindingly fast!
good luck.
cheers
