Default shocks/struts (Searched)

anybody got exp with these ? from what I have gathered from reading round here it goes something like this in order worst to first ....

Tokiko blues
Kyb AGX
Tokico illuminas
Koni yellows

Sound right ? I plan on daily driving, some auto x and some drag racing .. the springs I was looking at are the Tein S-tech. Value which would people recomend ?

I'd take AGX's over illumina's any day.

Mine lasted a hell of a lot longer then my buddies did and I'm harder on my car then he is.

i love my illuminas! they are sick as ****! i dont like the kyb agx's very much. my friend had them on a crx and they rode like ****. he had neuspeed race's though, if u stay above 1.5 inches they're good.

No Offence but I think you might be biased !

I dont think i would ever use a coil over again GC or otherwise .. I was just not very impressed they seem pritty flimsy.

The shocks Im really concidering are the Koni Yellows, the illuminas and the KYB's the drop from the Tein springs is 1.7 all around on my car ( I think 93 HB) with that info any new suggestions ....

what do u mean by "flimsey"? just curious.
The ones I had were very cheap so keep that in mind ... but with the coil overs they would move around if any wheel came off the grould (My old car was very stiff and sometimes going over RR tracks or steep driveways I would get a wheel off the ground and the spring would SLAM back into place when it came back down) the adjustable part got siezed up with dirt and couldnt be adjusted. and when I finely took them off my car there was a noticable bend in the springs .. like somwhere around 20 degrees

LOL I have had a really hard couple weeks and you just put a smile on my face thank you ! I still may end up getting blues Im pritty poor !
