HI new 2 board - camber question
HI everyone. my first post, I feel so virginal. anyway my question is about the Ingalls camber kit for my 00 Hatch. its installed got my camber corrected with some trial and error. however its scraping the insides of my fenders. Does anyone have a fix for this?
Secondly the third day of driving, the upper control arm(which is the kit) comes of its connection to the hub. the nut and cottor pin that was securing it is gone and the, i think its the wish bone, was using my inside fender as support!!! Second question is can i just buy the part that connects to the hub, cause the threads on it are now messed up. Does that company Ingalls have a number i can call about this?
thanks for the answers in advance.

Oh my goodness, another Ingall's 96-00 Civic upper control arm broken. The exact same thing happened on my friend's 98 Civic. Those things are
the Skunk2 arms are way better.
Also you can't correct your camber by trial and error. You need to get the car on an alignment rack if you want it done right.
I personally think camber kits are overrated unless you're racing and need to dial in an exact camber angle. I'm lowered almost 2" w/ -2.3 deg. camber in front and have had no tire wear problems in the past 25K+ miles.

are these the adjustable ball joint type?
i think thats garbage for the street anyway. i like the ingalls bushing type. i do not like the adjustable ball joint type. but me i just buy kumho's and change em every year and a half.

And are you referring to upper control arms w/ a sliding ball joint when you refer to adjustable balljoint? I hear the redesigned Skunk2 arms are alot better than the first ones. And the Ingalls arms are just
like I mentioned.
They didn't break, just the screw and nut holding it together between the suspension and the kit is stripped but it shouldn't have happen in the first place.
i will see if they company website has a number i can call to order the specific part.
If i had known the skunk2 was better made i would've bought them and i thought i had done enuff research but i guess i was wrong. i think when i bought these the skunk2 didn't have an even more better kit yet?
Yea i kno adjustin the camber shouldn't be a trial and error thing but was better than nothin and wanted to do all suspension adjustments at once. well our car was lowered prolly 2.5-3 not sure and we thought everything was peachy with the tires until one day the car was on a lift and took a look at them and Holy Crap tire wear like a mother lol. and buying tires every half year or whatever time frame even tho the tires would still be good if it had correct camber just seems like a waist of money to me. and i also got Kumho's.
thanks everyone for their opinion
