Default my new engine is in!

I finally got my baby back yesterday!
I had a b16b dropped in! Here is a few pics of my old and new motors.

Im going to clean the new engine and car this weekend. As soon as i get done i will take some better pics of it!

Why didn't you spend the little bit of extra and do a Type R then...?

It sure looks snazzy though, I bet there's alot of top end there.

its a 99 jdm ecu. the shop i had install it made a harness. I went with the b16b for a few reasons. Here is why:
(1) cost I didnt have the duckets of a b18c5.
(2) I can change out the bottom end on my b16b and turn it into a ITR later.
(3) I am impatient.
(4) GSRs dont come with LSD even if its only got a 4.40 final drive.
(5) i could stand my slow sohc any more!

I didn't realize that so many people hated the b16b. In my opinion I think its a good motor for a good price. It also has alot of potential.

yeah theyre only tourqless untill you use the $ you saved over a b18 and slap a turbo on. then the 1.8L is the torquless wonder... im still going b18c though
