My car (when idling) has been making sounds like the title. It drives fine and gets up and goes fine. I haven't noticed any hesitation. I have the D15B7. I just replaced the sparkplugs (it did it before). It's not them and I am thinking that it is the damn injectors but how do I fix it. What do I need to do to fix it? Thanks for your help.

My best guess is to swap a new engine in.

 

Try cleaning your injectors, also you might want to check your distributor just in case. Can't really help you without more info.

 

Sounds like a vacuum hose leak.

 

You'll want to upgrade to the 2.2 liter engine post-haste. There's no hope for yours: that sound signals armageddon. Now, don't be selfish and inflict the end of the world on all of us because you didn't want a hybrid

 

I was just wondering what modifications you did to the exhaust system. I took off my cat and straight piped it and it makes those sounds similar to what you wrote, allthough I can't be absolutely sure what sounds you are describing.

 

its a vaccum leak. check all your hoses. Getting new injectors couldnt hurt either.

Whatever...you guys have been a great help...thanks...I will check all my vacuum hoses and run a voltmeter by the injectors. As in test them not make the injectors jealous that their not a voltmeter
