i just picked up a set of Si wheels last night, and they are kinda dirty... i was wondering what is the best stuff to use to clean them off with... is there any kind of special cleaner i need to by, or will regular car wash soap and a brush be good enough...

 

steam cleaner works very well. other then that. mild soap, no abrasive brush and alot TLC will do just fine.

 

awesome... i don't have access to a steam cleaner so i'll probably just use soap and a brush... i've got one that's just like a really big tooth-brush, so that shouldn't hurt anything...

 

THE best spray-on/hose-off stuff on the market BY FAR Eagle one's A to Z cleaner. i love this stuff. great for lazy cleaners who don't have brushes to use. this stuff will get rid of all grime.

 

where can i get that stuff and how much does it cost

 

for my gsr alloys i just use the cheapest wheel cleaner i can find, it comes in a green bottle..i think its called "wheel magic"

spray it on, then use a towel to get off some of the tougher brakedust. it works fine, and the bottle says its safe on alloy wheels w/ clearcoat

 

you can find all these products at your local auto store, walmart or kmart.. pretty much anywhere.

 

i went and got some of the eagle 1 a2z wheels cleaner... i couldn't find that other stuff... i'm about to go out and clean my wheels front and back before i put them on...
