Default So I have a spare 500 bucks...

I just got my taxes done yesterday, and I have a few dollars ($500) burning a hole in my pocket. Here is what I have to work with: 00 EX Coupe, D16, Iceman intake, **** exhaust, 75 shot of ZEX...I'm kinda leaning towards a Apex WS system, but I like a carbon fiber hood too. What would you do with the money? I'm just looking for suggestions, maybe you guys can open my eyes to something I haven't thought of yet.

Tanabe super racing medallion or whatever its called

You should run an exhaust with that nitrous.

Or get custom 2.25" exhaust and a header. I think you could do that with $500. I did.

It would be nice to have a header and an exhaust with that zex but i didnt see you list that u had any suspenion upgrades. I would either get the hood, a header and custom exhaust, or suspension! That doesnt help u any but u can get a good suspension set up for bout $500, just sumthing to think about.

Get the Apexi WS. Its a proven system with good sound/performance/looks for a great price. I've never heard anyone with any complaints.

SAVE YOUR MONEY, get a B motor swap and quit dicking around with BS ricer stuff. Maybe, if you really hate your current exhaust, go to midas and get a 2.5inch custom cat back with no center resonater and have them put a resonater on the rear where the muffler would be. It costs about $110 and works wonderfully, it does not sound to great but it's a;ways function before form in my book.

with nitrous, get a decent 4-1 header and an MSD ignition system to fine tune your spray..

Send the money to me. I swear it will go to good use!!
If you aren't sure what you want, save it for something in the future.

I see that in the afternoon the answers have gone downhill I plan on a B18C5 swap in the next 2 months, so no cams, and I want something that will carry over to the new motor, like exhaust...i guess the question is if YOU had 500 bucks, what would YOU spend it on? (for the car you pervs)

can't go wrong with spending money on suspension. Koni's yellows are about $525...

whoops... you have those already... sway bars would be next on the list.

Wait until you get the swap. That way, you won't have to tack on any extra charges like modifying an exhaust to fit the new swap. Also, problems arise during swaps, and I'm pretty sure that the $500 will come in handy down the road.

every swap has little issues which end up as money pits, I would save it for the swap
