Default Is this ecu mounted correctly

I know this is a tech forum.

This is how i have my ecu mounted, is it correct ?
I don't have any brackets for this ecu. Its only hanging on by that one screw at the top. Is that safe enough.
and where do those ecu wires go, i'm guessing i have the ecu mounted wrong, because when i try to put the ecu cover on, those ecu wires get in the way.

If possible can i see some pics of how the ecu should sit, and how are those wires mounted.

thanks

Clean car. The ecu looks like it is in the correct position. The bottom bracket should be connected to a bolt that comes off the car. The wires also look like they are ran good enough. Why was your ecu exposed like this?

If you look close enough you will see that behind the ecu there is a metal plate. That prevents me from putting the bottom screw. ( i can't tilt the ecu to match the bottom hole)

The reason ecu is exposed like so is because i had to put in the carpet, so i had to take all the interior out.

Well this guy lives in houston and here in Tx, its not illeagal to have no sideview mirrors as long as you have the rear view. As long as u still use the rearview and turn your head and actually look in your blindspots then its really not all that dangerous at all. It does look a lil weird though. Y dont u have them on there, JW?

I think his car was stolen a while back. I remember the house in the pictures from pictures posted before. He's probably rebuilding the car after he got it back or something. ..

I bet you never seen a ECU mounted huh?
In my EG, there is a metal piece that go over the bottom part, that's where your wire should hang on to. I dont know about your EK

I just said it looks upside down. IN my 93 hatch it looks totally different, and with the interior out, including carpet, I see it everytime I drive. The wires do not hang like that at all. TO ME THAT LOOKS UPSIDE DOWN.

It's not illegal to driver without side mirrors. I know of someone with an 85 (or 86) Chevy Caprice that didn't come with side mirrors from the factory.

Odd, but true.

I think it was salvaged on purpose, who would take the carpet and leave the seats in ???
