alright i'm usually on the civic side of the forum, but posted this ? and no one has helped. here is the scoop. my friend has a 99 accord with the 2.3 sohc vtec. he just purchased an h22a which plans to turbo and put in his accord. question is can his motor be put in my civic(93 civic with the poor 1.5)?? like i said i posted this in the civic forum and noone could help. somebody has got to have some info. thanks alot. :honda2

i believe so, i've heard about alot of civics that have h22a's...the only thing is that the engine is alot heavier, so your civic will have slight handling problems...and it'll be much more front-heavy...

i don't know anything about civics (years, etc)...so i don't know if ur civic year would apply, but i think it would

 

yeah it is a heavy motor. just throw a ls turbo in it and make some real hp h22 in that car=drag car

 

i'm sorry i must have mislead you guys. can the f23a be put into my civic without any major problems?? soory for the misunderstanding.thanks alot though.

yeah it should be ok. its only a sohc motor. but u need everything to go with it.

 

mount kit and you're good to go.

 

I hear civics with H22's push big time. Anyone ever drive one and could confirm this??
