knock sensor???
i know this sounds stupid but i am swapping a jdmb16 into 91 crx si and goin to wire the knock sensor but it is no where to be found all i can actually plug in is the 2 wire white connector but no spot for the 1 wire knock sensor. both connectors are on the jdm harness though. maybe i'm just a lamer or something. thanks for any help you have
i know i have to run a new wire i took the old connector off the jdm harness i just can't find the plug on the block. i know it's on the back of the block under the head but i can't find it anywhere
Or it's not there. Depending on where you got your motor they might have taken it. We have had that happen on a couple of swaps where people bring us the engine.

If you are using a PR3 or PWO ECU you will have a check engine light, code 23.
You can get one from a DOHC Del sol or a DOHC Civic Si or a DOHC VTEC prelude.
I am not positive on this but, it you run with that code VTEC might not work, not 100% sure on this though.

I am fixing to move my knock sensor because I am throwing a code right now. Ne way I am not trying to steal the post but I have a question. Can throwing this code hurt performance because sometimes when I haul *** it feels like it pulls better than others. I know that the knock sensor code causes the car to pull timing and makes the car run like *** but can it also hurt performance even when it seems to be running fine?
