friend saw his parts from his stolen car on two of the cars in their shop. Specically his Sparco steering wheel, Carbon Fiber hood w/ hood pins, and Spoon EG spoiler, another friend saw his brand new rota slipstreams w/ falken azenis, sparco seats, and Torn Sparco harness on another of their cars.
How can they prove any of that stuff is "theirs" - did they write their name on it - and thus they could see it on there? Because I mean those parts are just so rare im sure NO ONE else in the god damn NOVA area could possibly have them right?

The police were called to the scene but said they did not have enough evidence to take any action
Again New Again Automotive in Silver Spring, MD. Proven car theifs
So how is it proven if then police clearly thought there was not enough evidence? Dont ******* cry wolf....

Wrong, if you want specifics, PM me or contact Funktional01 on AIM.

I'm not "crying wolf", the police said to my friend that since they had not specifically marked their items, then they could not take that as evidence. Again if you want specifics PM me or contact Funktional01 on AIM.

It's not the first time I've heard of them doing something like that happen. It seems too often someone has something installed at their shop and a few days later the parts or car is stolen. Then a few months later they will have the same parts for sale "used."

Well what is so super secret that you cant post the specifics here?

Bro im not calling bullshit, but saying a shop steals parts is a serious accusation. Word gets around and places loose business and get bad reps for that. A person should have no right to do this without proof...

As everybody knows there has been a massive auto theft of imports in the NOVA region lately, today my friend found the automotive shop who has stolen 2 cars in NOVA. The name of the shop is New Again Automotive in Silver Spring, MD. These are not just empty suspicions, my friend saw his parts from his stolen car on two of the cars in their shop. Specically his Sparco steering wheel, Carbon Fiber hood w/ hood pins, and Spoon EG spoiler, another friend saw his brand new rota slipstreams w/ falken azenis, sparco seats, and Torn Sparco harness on another of their cars. Both their cars were stolen in NOVA in the last couple months.
The police were called to the scene but said they did not have enough evidence to take any action. Lets everybody in NOVA who wants to take down these theives come together to take them down, who knows how many other cars these guys have stolen. Contact me at Noreaga618@yahoo.com, or BolivianGuerrero on AIM, or contact Funktional01 on AIM for more info.

not calling you a liar or anything, but making statements like this in a public forum is slander.

I have no idea who any of these people/places are, but i believe it 100%. there is a shop in knoxville, TN that does the same thing/has the same reputation. i am absolutely sure that they (knoxville shop guys) are thieves, and stopped dealing with them because of that. car thieves can all burn in hell right now for all i care.

damn it's funny that i found this thread. today at work my coworker and i were talking about the place his brother got his car from, which happens to be the same place i bought my car from. from what he said he saw on the news, and from an FBI report his economics teacher showed the class, this place has people steal cars, strip them down to the shell, and keep the rest of the parts. they then buy the shells at police auctions, and re-install the rest of the parts they originally took out. a lot of the cars that are for sale at this place are salvaged title and stolen recoveries. this was the case for my hatch, as well as a type r i bought from them. i asked what the outcome was, he really didn't remember but he mentioned either the feds didn't have enough evidence or the auto sales place had a very good lawyer. i think i will try and do some research on this place.

I would be interested in helping out. I talked to Funktional01 a while ago cause our cars were stolen around the same time. PM me or IM me on AIM (b16a ferio) and let me know whats up. I would be more than happy to go get some of my parts back. There is another user on here (Proud black honda owner) that has a large suspicion that some of his parts might be there as well. ******* thieves...

Take action into ur own hands. I'd be furious to know if those were my hood or seats, etc sitting in that car.

occurred on 3:27:2003.

recieved a phone call from a friend that recently got his car stolen roughly about two weeks ago. was told he has an idea that his parts are on a customers car at new again automotive in silver spring, md. i went ahead and took the the cut up harnesses that were left in his car when his seats were stolen up to new again. when i arrived i looked at the car that supposedly had his seats and his rims on it. i looked inside and sure enough on the seat there was a half cut harness. now when i installed my friends sparco seats i had bolted a portion of the waist belt to the bottom of the rail and that portion was cut and still bolted to the rails. do any of you guys smell anything phishy? not to mention when the customer came he had claimed that the car was there for one month when i asked the manager or whoever there for the invoice it was dated 3:21:2003 which makes the car only there for 6 days. now when i had asked him what the car was doing he had told me that it was doing a headgasket job and he even told the officer it would take him about a day to get it back together as he originally wanted to tow the car to the police impound to take the car apart and search for more stolen goods. well does it really take one month to do a headgasket? there is more to prove it is our goods but i wont disclose that as it could jeopardize my case. when his friend came up i also noticed that on his friends EG body civic my hood and my wing were on it. i can prove that as well. any of you NOVA guys tired of our cars getting stolen speak out. cops arent doing ****. we gotta do this ourselves.

now for you guys that defend new again. well if you were a legit shop would you not try to help out someone that got their car stolen if you threw down the correct evidence? the whole time i got bs and them defending their case when i say does it take one month to do a headgasket job? or what about the car being there since 3:21:2003? i smell bullshit.

new again i doubt is to blame but they obviously have somethign to do with it. not saying that they steal the cars but maybe somewhere along the line work with the thieves. the mechanic there named chris seemed to be very buddy buddy with the owner of the civic. also defending him in every way possible. but everybody beware of red ek civic hatch gsr motor turbocharged with a greddy turbo kit. him and his boys sporting a lot of stolen goods. b16a ferio i bet he has your goods as well i need to discuss with how your car was stolen in order to see if they are behind this as my car and my friends car were taken the same way.

I would gather up a bunch of "pipe hittin' *****s"......

On the real if you knwo for a fact that the **** is yours. If you can get out of it clean.....GO GET YOUR **** and then drive up there a a week later with your **** back in your car.

Then set up a video camera and stake out your car and document everything so you can catch the ***'s in the act.

I tracked down my 1st hybrid to a shop while here in ATL (The car was stolen in Toronto) and I had my buddy put me on the phone with the owner. He even went as far as to say he had seen the car but doesn't know where it went.

Good thing I wasn't there because he would've been telling thru some broken teeth.
