Default POA1? accord engine

I need en engine for my car 95 civic and I found a guy selling a complete POA1 97 Accord Swap. I dont know what it is or if it will work. He is selling it for 900.00 and i dont think it would be very easy to do. Somebody help me. Oh and by the way the engine is auto and my car is manual so I have to buy anither tranny at least.
Dont make fun of me I dont know anything about accords only civics and tegs.

umm, I am NO EXPERT but I beleive that you are being fed a line...I think that the engine would be an F22b1 if the car is an EX that it is coming out of. The DX and LX engine eludes me presently. maybe F22b2???. and I do beleive that the swap will be a pain in the *** but anything is possible with the time and money. please feel free to correct anything wrong that I have said

Sure, its quite a common swap. F22 into a EG Civic, but that engine is in no way worth $900. You can find them for $200. Many times, that 2000lb. Civic with an F22 and a ghetto turbo setup will run 12's easy with about $800 invested.

Accord engines, unless they are brand new, go for far less than $800 all the time.
even a junk yard won't rape you for $900

mabey the buy is lookin at the head. bc the head says poa, and i think the ecu says poa1. either way, youd need to swap a lot of ****. its the same as a lude swap. 900+200 (for tranny) plus install= not worth your time. you could save your pennies and get an h22 with tranny for 2300 or so
