It depends on what year Si (PM6) ECU you currently have in the car. It also depends on what (if any) mods you have on the car....

I'll tell you now, that the '90-'91 PM6 (Si) ECU has very aggressive fuel/timing maps. Using the SOHC ZC ECU on a D16A6 motor, even with an intake, header and exhaust, you won't notice any difference at all. I doubt even a dyno will read any improvements.

Also, a Mugen ECU is a complete waste of money, considering you don't have a fully built N/A D16A6 powerhouse.

see i have a dual program chip in my car that is adjutable by a switch, i have the mmr program and the stock program, i can switch between programs on the fly when needed, i definatly feel the difference between the two programs, i have much stronger pull through mid and high end rpms. the downfall to the mugen ecu chip is that it was made for a car with a really stout cam, and after about 20 secs after the car is running it will throw a check engine light and get an irradic idle, you will burn through and eighth of a tank of gas just going to the grocery store also with that chip, so i wouldnt suggest running a mugen chip if you dont have the cash to back up the gas you are gunna burn
