why is everyone so hung up on these exhausts lately, because of their vintage appeal or what?

Isn't the muffler a chambered design just like the stock one? If you're gonna shell out the money for an exhaust, i'd get a straight thru one. They may be loud, but its not like our cars are quiet luxury cars to begin with. Just my opinion.

for as much money as it costs it could atleast be stainless steel. Personally I would would go with Tanabe Hyper Medallion its quiet, yields the same gains as the rsr i'm sure and is stainless steel. Tanabe

RS*R

however, i wouldnt say its the one of the best.....definitely a classic. but power gains are pretty similar to other mufflers with the same design like the Apexi RS/WS.

RSR owns. Just ordered the LAST ONE from turboimport the other day. Much better than any FART CANNON.

yeah my cousin had an RSR exhaust on his hatch.. loved the black muffler and the clean tip.. also loved how it didnt have that stupid annoying sound that hondas with straight through exhausts produce.. well, straight through exhausts that arent a bolt on.. the 5zigen fireball full bolt on sounds clean.. but muffler shop piping with a straight through muffler sounds stupid..

quiet exhaust on the street

loud exhaust where its necessary (not on the street)

get a greddy SP and paint the muffler black...same result, with a slightly deeper tone.
