I'm not sure weight reudcution can pull that much off, unless we're talking CF panels and lexan

But I've been wrong before

rip the AC and PS out too.

It should be fairly easy to hit high 13's with just bolt ons

Would just a set of drag slicks get a stock itr into the 13's?

Doubt it. Need a header at the least.

I've always looked at nitrous as cocaine for your motor; fun, but not healthy.

Bolt-ons should get you close to the very upper edge of 13s. Just out of curiousity, why do you plan on using stock internals? It's really not that expensive to re-build a bottom end with upgraded pistons, which would be a good idea if you plan on using enough nitrous to get into the 12s. The stock pistons are fairly weak. You'll probably end up breaking the ring lands.

Any way you cut it, it won't be cheap to get your car into the 12s. You might as well do it right and forget about using all stock internals. Just my $.02.

That's what a lot of people do. Of course, you risk damaging more than the parts you want to replace.

basic bolt-ons and stripped interior should be enough. I saw a guy at the track hit 13.8 with cams and stripped interior.

You can hit high 13's with stock cams. Ask Active Aero.

13.8 no problem with stock cams...I just need some better traction than the worn out Nitto tires I have, then I can hit some better times.

On stock cams, it's possible to run low 13's I'm sure.

EP is making at least 213 whp on stock cams.

Yes its do-able with the stock ITR cams... but with bigger cams, it will be MUCH easier.

get turbo and run that all day long.. you probably need close to 200whp to accomplish that.. Activeaero might make it with -10 whp from 200.
