It is kind of a bitch to take off your front bumper on a 5th gen. To do it "correctly", you must take the headlights out because their are two screws under each headlight that can't be reached without the removal of the headlights.First, remove the grill ( 5 screws) The easiest way to remove the headlights is by unscrewing the bumper support screws. After you do this, the support will slide down but wont fall off. Then their should be a total of 5 screws on each headlight that must be removed to get the headlights out. Then, their is a screw on each side of the bumper that hold the bumper and fender together. Then unscrew the screws that hold the bumper cover on. ( I think 7 or 8). That should be it. Trust me this is right because I just recently replaced my whole front end including fenders and headlights due to an accident. Don't try to remove the bumper cover without the headlights out. Do it right so nothing gets broken and so it also is sturdy.
Um .. you can't take the headlights out .. unless you have the front bumper off to begin with ... but I think you were referring to the bumper lights, because you need to remove those to get to the two bolts behind there (Main support bolts for the front bumper).

Actually, when you remove the grill and the bumper support bolts (2), the bumper slides down and gives you plenty of room to access the 5 blots for each headlight and to take out the headlights. Even when the bumper cover is off, you still can't remove the headlights unless you drop the bumper support under the bumper cover. The bumper cover is just that, it is only a cover, I know what I am talking about because I just did the **** on my accord not to long ago.

and the main support bolts for the bumper cover are not behind the corners. Those bolts connect rhe fender to the chassis, they have nothing to do with the bumper. And the bumper cover does not have bolts. They are little screws. The bumper support bolts are behind the cover by the horns.
Slightly off topic, but how about taking the back bumper off of a 1999 Honda Accord (6th generation?) ? A girl hit me in my back quarterpanel last fall, and I see now that it is rusting back there (behind the bumper), and I wanted to scrape it down and coat it with touchup paint. It doesn't have to look pretty since it is hidden behind the bumper, but I don't want it rusting, of course.
