does anybody know if i can paint my bumper lights all amber like the vision bumper lights or like the 98 and up integra bumper lights...if you know how can you tell me what kind of paint you used, where you got it, and how you did it...thanks

 

I think you can...I think someone/people on here have done it...not to sure who though.

 

You can either paint them using transparent paint found at any local hobby store or you can buy them online at http://www.autodynamic.com for an unreasonable price.

 

yeah...the prices suck...i bet i could do it myself, the ghetto way , i just hope it comes out right...thats why i wanna know where to get the paint...how to paint it...and how other ppl's bumper lights look that did this kinda thing

 

buy clear bumper lights, prep them by removing all grease and oil. i used krylon stained glass paint, it worked very well. apply 2 or 3 thin coats, or until you think it's dark enough. if you have any questions let me know.

it was a paint supply store, i actually got in it montreal..... it's a long story of my drunken adventures in canada, but in the end i bought a can for me and a can for deviant94ex. i think you can order it online now, but i am not sure. hope that helps some what.

Here's how I did it.

 

use the Tamiya paint works great!

 

 

Yeah I also painted my bumper and corners lenses with Tamiya Clear Orange paint. It works really well. I don't got any pics though. I should get some up soon. I just cleaned up my corner and bumper lenses really well, then put on about three coats using a sponge brush. Then I let them dry overnight. I love them, and a bunch of people actually think they're stock, then I tell them "No, I painted them!!!!". My bro is gonna be doing it to his G20's corners also.

 

I need to do this soon. I was wondering what do you guys think about painting it from the inside (back the corners and take it apart)? I blacked my tailights a long time ago (old car) and after a while it started flaking off. Just curious if painting it from the inside will give it a cleaner look.
