i have a jdm s1 tranny in my car... i have 4th and Reverse grinding.... ive alway heard that just getting a used tranny would be alot cheaper.. but i just wanna know price rates on rebuilding a tranny.. id rather rebuild my trany than buy a used tranny and having that end up grind on me

 

only 4th and reverse? doesnt sound like a problem to me, except that you shouldnt shift into reverse when the car is moving (or reving the engine), and you can skip 4th when if finally goes out. now if it was 2nd or 3rd gear like most of the people i know its a problem...

 

reverse has no syncros, lol
