how to tell the difference between usdm and jdm hood?

i ordered my cf hood at work the other day, and it was supposed to be the oem style...well it took me a few days to even open it, when i did, it was a cf zc hood. i wasn't mad or anything, i actually like the zc better, i just want a way to make sure it is a usdm before i mount it. any ideas?

Dustin, the ZC hood is a bolt on... the only hood style that DOES NOT BOLT ON is the SiR raised cowl hood. It doesn't fit because the SiR has a different headlight design and the front end sticks out 2-3 inches from what I've heard.
