hi.. hope you guys could help me out.. I'm crazy over this.hehe.

I have a set of 2000 gsr tailights that was Painted another color by the previous owner, the brake part is still red and the reverese is still white..but everywhere else on the light is painted blueish(non-transparent paint) with clear coat to match is car. Is there any liquid or dissolvent to remove the clearcoat and paint without damaging the T. lights?
if yes, where can i buy it?

I think any solvent is probably going to damage the plastic of the lights. You might try gently scraping them with something, but otherwise that might be the way they're going to stay.

 

Sand the paint off by hand by using sandpapers of varying grit (work you way to 1000 grit or higher). After your done sanding, the lights should looking a little hazy. Spray light even coats of clear coat on the lights (2 or 3 light coats). There, they should look brand spanking new.
