Anyone watch NBC during the NBA finals last night? Sometime during the second quarter, they were talking about how Allan had worked hard throughout the playoffs, reving his "motor" like crazy, but the fuel tank was slowly running dry. They put up a nice graphic of a tach/fuel gauge. The tach went up to 10K rpm, redlined over 8000 rpm. Sound familiar?


Lets see now, much smaller player, changes direction in an instant, out accelerates bigger player, runs rings around them, high energy, takes anything you throw at him. Well, sounds like we have a perfect match!

Dude, pay attention...it was a GSR.

It redlined at 8000rpm. That tach SHOWED up to 10,000rpm like the ITR, but the actual redline was 8000!

I don't think there's anything to be embarassed about. Come on, you guys were playing with, what, 3 broken feet, McKie had an injured hand, Iverson had A RIB injury (plus the tail-bone injury). You still gave the Lakers a pretty good run.

If Vince Carter made that shot, the Raptors go the Eastern Conf. finals, and who knows, we may have even beated Milwaukee. But .... Philly wanted it more, the better team won.

You gotta love Shaq's Alley Oop Dunk with 2 seconds left in the game. Talk about a slap in the face for Philadelphia! The fans went from Cheering the 76'ers for a good effort to booing Shaq.
