ive searched and read all topics, but still couldn't find info specific enough... well anyhow.. i just got volk le37t's 16x7 on my slammed '00 civic.. its got some bald 205 40 16's on it right now, so i need to upgrade tires real soon, im thinkin of kuhmo 712's, or maybe some yoko's.. i don't know much about tires but i dont got much cash after i got these rims
-so let me know what tires you guys think i should get and which size.. 205 40 16 seems okay, but its so low pro so i was thinking 205 45 16, but i wonder what it's going to look okay, i wonder if you guys could also post pics of your cars with all different tire sizes with 16x7 rims... thanks

hehe yup, try to get some Yokos over the kuhmos. IMO I'm currently running 205/45/16 Yoko Parada Spec2 on mine. Nice handling

i'm using Dunlop SP9000 205/45/16

 

Besides looking wierd, 40 series tires have a sidewall so short, damage to your fancy wheels will be much more likely. Go with 45 series tires.

 

205-50-16 fits the same as a 215-45-16 on a 16 x 7.

but id go with 205-50-16 theyre cheaper.

 

i know it'll fit, but don't 205 50 16's look too fat?... i was thinking the max i would go is 45, if not then stick with 40.... thats why i need more PICTURES guys PICTURES!!!

 

if your car is slammed...i'd recommend getting the 205/40-16's. less sidewall but it won't rub as bad as 205/45-16's.

 

205/50-16 is much too large for a Civic or Integra.

205/45-16 Yok AVS ES100 gets a in my book. My friend has them in that size and I have them in 205/50-15.

I had the AVS ES100's in 195-50-15 on my old hatch and I loved them...can't wait to get the 205/45/16's!!!

 

azenis 215/45/16 is what i would go with.

 

I also have the AVS ES100....they seem to be doing ok so far. Way better than the old Kumho 712 I used to have.

 

hm... 215 45 16 azenis will rub way too much, i'm gonna go ahead and order the yokohama avs es100's this weekend... thanks for all the help guys!

if u order them off tirerack.com, the total for 205/45/16s will be around $340 including shipping, which is still only $85 a tire...not bad
