Just bought a 89 CRX 1.5 DX and had a new starter put on, new timing belt, plug's.The car will, on occasion flood when starting. 15 min. later it starts up like a champ and runs good. 1 out of 8 start up's it will flood on me and I was hoping someone could help me with this problem.

do you push on the gas when you are starting it?

 

I never have a problem when startin my DX, just dont use the gas unless it needs it.
