I may be buying a RS bumper from a Civic for my CRX because I have been told they are easily modded to fit. Does anyone know what the procedure is? TIA

i put a crx one on my hatch and it looked like poo, didnt fit right at all

 

could elaborate any more please?

 

I have an RS front bumper from a 91 hatch on my 88 4dr. Fits like a charm...Not that this helps you but I don't see why it would be a problem to fit one from a civic to a crx

 

pretty much the civics have a filler plate, ww saw this and made a mold of the filler plate into the bumper so that it fits like factory, where as on the crx they dont have any filler plate and attach differently than the civics. you can make it fit but it wont be a great fitmet, on mine the sides stuck out way to far and the front sagged because of the different mounting points on the bumper

 

i also put a crx WW bumper on my civic, had the same problems as stated before, also i had to grind the reinforcement abit to make it fit. then i went to the local scrap yard picked up a plastic filler piece from a civic wagon, and some plastic weilding later, and i got a nice round crx front bumper on my civic....i never did like the boxy look of the civic WW bumper, the CRX one is much much more rounded.

 

hmmm...by sounds of it...civic to crx doest seem very possible as it has an extra piece u cant get rid of...but crx to civic isnt too bad cuz u can add that piece in....

I have the RS kit for my 91 CRX. I think the turn signal markers don't fit the same on the civic WW bumper. I think you will have to purchase turn signal lenses that fit an early integra. I can't quite remember. somebody please correct me if I am wrong.

 

nope you need 90-91 civic turn signals for civic bumper
or....90-91 CRX turn signals for CRX bumper

 

Oh ya.....duh! to me. That makes total sense. Haha
