So what if somebody wants to just express an opinion or vent? You don't have to read it, or much less respond to it! This forum could pick up if people felt comfortable enough to not jump over eachother's backs for slightly stupid or off-topic comments. Lighten up mods.

to bad, the Prelude forum is a tech forum, and unless your ranting/venting/BS deals with a Prelude in some shape way or form, then it will be deleted or locked..... that's the way it has been, and the Prelude mods are wayyyyy more liberal about this than any of the other tech forum mods, so if i were you, i;d stop bitching while we can still have some slightly OT threads

oh yeah, i almost forgot..... IBTL!!!!!

Actually it is a prelude forum; hence the name of the forum. There is a reason the six technical forums were created, just as the prelude forum was created for prelude owners to congregate, or gather. Furthermore, who declared the prelude forum a "tech forum?"

you don't change honda-tech, honda-tech changes you!!!

Dude seriously I can't believe still think that like random off topic posts are cared about here. The technical forums are for general technical knowledge. THe Model specific forums are for model specific TECHNICAL knowledge. What is so hard to understand about that.

Maybe you should talk to the creators, they'd be happy to laugh at you.

i think we should get a title for the Prelude forum. Maybe include the word "tech" so that way this post couldn't have been made or atleast shouldn't.

I agree that the main function of the lude forum is for tech, but I do consider you guys (the ones ive seen so far on the lude forums) my lude family(5th gens too, ok ok 3rd you're welcome as well).

Apparently they are taken with care; why else would they be locked or deleted?

well sorry for expressing concern for the prelude community here.

I DID. Deal with it, or leave. You are no great help to us.

You want to gather with other Prelude owners? Pay $6 and go over to preludeonline.

You want technical advice on when your car ***** up? You want help with something? You have a question on your car, or want to figure something out? You need help assembling a motor and are looking for someone in your area with time to come over and help? Come here and let us help you.

We don't care about your g/f in here... that's what the general discussion form is for. That's what it was created for.

Don't be retarded. Look at my posts... look at how long I've been here. Look at the fact I'm a mod. Look at my knowledge, my experience.

In HERE... I am a Prelude freak. I help when I can, I find answers when I can. I don't want to go looking through every damn thread to find someone to help and have to sift through your personal problems.

We let a lot of stuff slide for older folks, just because that's how it is. The longer you've been here, the more helpful you are, then the more stuff you can get away with.

This isn't a democracy. Corey and I rule. If you'd like to take something up with us through IM, then feel free to do so. If you'd like to ask permission to post something for sale, or whatever, we're usually VERY understanding. We just don't like people coming in here and running amuck creating OT posts that just clutter up people looking for real help.

End of story, end of discussion, and as lildrgn says: "Game... set... match."

Hugs and kisses,
Todd

are you just trying to be argumentative? You know exactly what I meant

well sorry for expressing concern for the prelude community here, or lack thereof...
What exactly is wrong with the community here? Tech questions are asked, tech questions are answered. Seems like a good community to me.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......... ......................

bunch of babies, the Prelude forum is one of the most lenient on the whole board, Todd and Corey are the reason for this, they are both laid back kind of guys

remember that other mods with global powers can delete posts in this forum also

Exactly.. We don't care about "how will my car look?", "do you think my monkey bars are bomb?", "my GF is on the rag, what am I to do?" posts... Just deal with it.. If you want to vent, http://www.superhonda.com is your friend..

Also, How the HELL did Morgan get global rights to honda-tech boards?
