I ve seen posts for Silverstars .....whats so great about them? are they HID looking? I dont get what the hype is? Is it the same ones you can pick up at the local auto parts store?

 

They are garbage. Yes they look like they would give off a HID look but they look like nothing more than a brighter version of a stock halogen bulb. Plus, about 75% of them will go out on you about 3 months or so down the road. If they were cheaper, then it might be worth it but at the price you usually find them for, dont waste your time.

 

They are much better than stock halogen bulbs. Clearer light, whiter, wider beam and supposedly close to HID. Yeh same ones from the local auto store. You can get them for $15 now with rebate. I have 9006 and like them a lot and for $30 would recommend them.

 

Theyre just good headlamp replacements imo.. I did the 9005 coversion

 

better than stock one no doubt, 30 bucks each is kinda pricey
remember nothing beats the real sh_t
