OK, I just got my parking permit for college. Now most schools would just give you a tag for your rearview mirror or a tiny sticker, well they use big ones that are size of index cards.

Now, I don't really like having stickers on my car and hope to remove the sticker after each quarter when I have to buy a new one. It doesn't look like it'll easily come off after applied, so is there a trick I can use when putting it on? Something similar to using wax when putting tape numbers on the body for track events. It also says taping it the window is prohibited, but I may end up doing that anyway.

 

What if somone steals it? I say just put it on.

 

You can't tape it to the window, but what about sticking it to the window on the outside. You can just use a razor to pull it off later.

 

just put it on. I use a razor to get mine off at the end of each semester. Any glue left behind comes off with goo gone. works perfect. put it on the windshield in one of the lower corners. it's hidden there a little bit. won't take away too much from your ride.

 

They also sell some sort of clear sticker that's not as sticky for you to put your stickers on and then apply to your window. I hope that made sense. It's specifically made for stickers that need to be applied to your car.

 

Well the sticker is made to put on the outside of the car. I just don't really want to deal with getting the residue off later; and it's so big. The "pre-sticker" stuff that ekcoupe97 mentioned sounds like a good idea, too.

I suppose I still have until Monday morning to figure out what I'm going to do. Thanks for the help.
