Those with Tein, Zeal or Mugen coilover, got a question..
I have a question regarding the Zeal Function B6 coilover I'm installing now. The coilover came pre-assembled. The instruction didn't say if they are left-right specific as it did with the stock strut/spring in the Helm manual.. Does it really matter? Why would the stock setup be side specific? The brake line brackets? My coilover doens't have those bracktes so it shouldn't matter right?
thanks.
thanks.
I have Zeal S6's and they replaced Tein N1's. I used tie straps to secure my lines but I also have the kit that is used to mount AP racing stainless lines. I'll try to snap some pics and send 'em to ya.
Oh yeah... Shocks w/o brake line brackets are not side specific. The stock setup is side specific because of the brackets for the brake lines.

I too got the B6's about a week ago. My feelings are that they work wonders for the R. The only complaint besides being the best I have had or rode in is that it is a little noisey... due to the stiff pillow mounts and the polyurethane bushings.
btw, i zipped tied my brake lines too.

Thanks everyone.. I didn't think it's side specific when I first saw it without the brake hose brackets. I'm using cable ties as well....
i tie it to one of the fork leg where the bottom of the strut meet.

i have tein RA, they didn't come with brake line brackets as well. but i took the brake line brakets off the factory's and put them on my tein's.
all you need is just use a hammer to take off from the factory's shocks.
