There was a thread on this but i cant find it and the archive fuction is disabled right now.Im about to buy some racing seats from this dude for dirt cheap but i dont like the color.What can i use to change the color of the seat.I dont want to change the material just the color.I heard you can dye it or use some cloth type spray paint.By the way its a momo 1000 lake seat and its dark blue with yellow and i want it all black.Just wanted to say that so you guys dont think im all ricey

 

I think you can go to Walmart or any clothing/fabric store and get some cloth or fabric dye. Just make sure it works on suede or whatever fabric the seats are. And you might have to dye the yellow portion twice or more b/c it might come out lighter than the blue portion at first. Try it on a portion that is not visible first

I heard that if you are colouring your seats you better be prepared to re-do it again soon. The colour fades faster then a ************.

 

Yea i heard the thread and there is pros and cons to it.I dont think i want to paint a $500 seats and it be all fawked up.
