i was at the gas station the other day and the retard who was workjing there pulled the nozzle out of the tank without letting go of the handle, or somthing, i dont knwo what he did, but he spilled gas all over the side of the car....i usualy would ump my own gas, but the cheapest place near me is full-serve only. im planning on having my car painted in june, but how bad is that for my paint? i wahsed it off with some water/a towel as soon as it happened.

 

u should be fine, ive gotten gas on my eclipse paint( black) and it never came off or anything. as long as it didnt sit there for an excessive amount of time then i think your ok

gas evaporates so fast by the time you went inside, got paper towel and made it back out to the car, it would be dry.

i think it will go away after a few washings and such.

that is actually one of the things i fear about my paint, when im finished pumping, i always shake it while its still kinda in there so it doesnt dribble out onto the side of my car.

..actually dont. I spill a bit on mine sometimes. It's fine.
