I thought our gas tanks were 16 gallons, mine fills up at 13. Is there anything in particular that could be causing this or any way to fix it?

 

accord holds about 15-17 gallon i'm not sure...but i know when your gas light come on...it means that the tank still have 2.2 gallon left....

 

In my POS Accord the gas light doesn't come on. I just drive untill I get anywhere between 300-325mi, and fill up.

 

The tanks holds 17gal, and has 4 left when the light comes on.

 

but it isn't sopposed to stop at 13 gal when u fill up is it?

 

mine is a 15...never gone more than that...

my gass gauge is fucked up. i never know how much gas i have left. wind up putting in like 5 dollars every 2 days to keep it full

 

Lets do some math here. If you have a seventeen gallon tank with 4 gallons in it already how many gallons of gas can add in before it becomes full.

What's the big deal any way? I normally put up to 14 gallons in... 15 when I am really low.

 

thats all I wanted to know if the 4 was already in it. Not really a big deal I just wanted to make sure that I was getting a full tank of gas thats all.

lol its iight, I like that song too. I have enough problems wit the pos accord, Had to make sure I didn't have a faulty gas tank

 

unless im driving long distances i never have more than half a tank usually

 

I can't even remember the last time I got 300-325 in 1 tank of gas. for me its more like 240 - 280 miles.

 

dang, do you ever see a freeway? that sucks man

 

i get 320 miles all the time on a full tank

 

freeway driving at 75Mph I fill up every 400 miles usually about 13-14 gallons

 

I'm 80% freeway milage, but I never see anywhere near 400

I've done 480 on a tank once. But my **** was dieing as I pulled into the station.

 

I just hit 550 miles last week with 16 gals. Mostly highway driving. I'll try and hit 600 this summer in ideal conditions.

On long trips I generally drive just over 6 hours @ 80mph on a full tank before I fill up... that's 480 miles, and I know I have a little more left.

 

**** those were the days, any more the h22a sucks gas down like nothing. Only get if I am lucky 300 miles on a full tank...

 

I have a F22B engine and besides 2.2L is not exactly a fuel hog now is it?

 

See thats the problem... I don't have a light. It never comes on
