Default Just got back from DSR

I'm some what satisfied with my numbers: 188.1 hp/ 131.4 tq
Setup is:
Stock 00'-01' C5 block, IB Portflow GSR head(P&P, valve train, retainers, racing valves(exhaust), RC 310's, AEM fuel rail and regulator, Skunk2 Stage 1's, sprockets, and Intake Manifold, Hondata IM Gasket, Ported GSR TB, IB JG header, Carsound Cat, 5zigen axleback(custom 2.5" piping), MSD 6a(coil and wires too), Bosch 4227(gapped at 44), all attached to a 98' JDM tranny from Brian. Tuned with Hondata. Overall, the cars is fun to drive, so I'm happy.
Just a side note, I went from a IB Killer Block LS/Vtec (12.5-13.1 JE's, Eagle Rods, sleeved to 84.5mm. Used same head as above. This setup put out 208.8/156.8 at DSR in August. Reason why I switched was because this setup always had idle problems. Also, Jeff decided to put hella high compression pistons in it (I had wanted 11.5) and it would detonate on low rpms. Well, come to find out when pulling off the head, the ARP studs weren't torqued down to specs. They loosened easily, I'm going to guess 40-50lbs only, causing a little leak in the headgasket. Also, missing 3 bolts from Skunk2 IM. Keep in mind I had him put this engine together as a package 2. I delivered my GSR there and bought all brand new aftermarket parts from him. Also, he decided to use a LS block other than my GSR, how convenient huh, never got my GSR block back.
And while I'm sort of venting, Jeff decided that I didn't need my GSR ECU anymore while getting Hondata from him, so he switched it out to a Civic VX ECU without my discretion. Yes, I know it won't make a difference in performance, but my ECU is worth a whole lot MORE!!! Shady huh, and that's after I spent over $8000 there. Damn! ( e-mailed Jeff twice about getting it back, but he changes the subject about it not making a difference. Shows how he treats customers that live too far from him to do anything.)

you go from fresno all the way to san jose?

that is a fun 2.5 hour one way drive

I would expect more power from your setup with all the money you have into it.

jonnybravo with a stock jdm itr bottom end and either skunk2 stage 1 or 2 cams made 206ish whp with smsp header and lightly modded head

can you take a pic of your dynograph and load it onto we-todd-did-racing.com ?

it is usually best to deal with IB or any other vendor personally, and not posting up stuff like this, just to shake or stir things up. if jeff doesnt want to handle the situation properly then create a dedicated thread with your experience @ IB

btw, you running the S200 or stage 2 hondata?

Personally, I think if he had stage 2's, it would explain it. (makes me wonder if I really have stage 1 cams, haha)
Anyhow, I've tried e-mailing Jeff to no prevail.
Also, it's Hondata stage 2

Wow, Jeff and Lawrence are suppose to be a couple of top notch Hondata tuners in Cali. My Itr motor put down the same as yours did with Stage 1 cams. A little different set up (i had jdm 4-1/es muffler/kenji ecu) but Dsr tuning made a big difference (baseline 166/ after 188).

Thats an interesting situation you've had at IB, I was thinking of driving to LA too.
