Anyone put a b20 into a 4th gen?
Any specific reason why you want to put a B20 VTEC into a Prelude? Anything is possible (considering H22's are put into B-series chassis) but unless you're really looking for a high revving solution you're going to miss the low end torque which you need to get the chubby Prelude moving.

why would you want a b20? they do come non vtec, i hope you know that... if you throw a vtec head on it... its going to be a b series vtec not the h22 head. all and all, i think you will have a weaker motor than a h23 hybrid wont you??? why not just go h23 hybrid and save the hastle.
Even if you put a turbo on it the engine doesn't have much grunt until you reach 0psi and depending on your app that can vary. Plus I don't see you getting more than 300whp unless you go pretty crazy on a B20. My choice would be to optimize what you have a little better.
Yea its not that im realistically considering this. Im just throwing this out in the air just in case my block comes out to be unsalvagable.
Just wondering how well a built B20 with fi performs. Thing with the h23 with fi is that it deff has plenty of low end torque which can be undesirable on a FWD car.
Just considering what is possible if the situation arrises where i may have to get a new block
