Need help please can't find MES connector
Where's yours plugged in?
I'm trying to get my SRS light to go off.
I have a 1 inch wide yellow cable with two green wires connected at the top left of the fuse box and another smaller (same size as the service connector by the glove box) yellow with two green wires connected at the top left of the fuse box. Neither of these when shorted causes the SRS light to go off as the instructions show.
The Helms manual doesn't show much in this regard, please help!

Its at the top right of the fuseblock. There is a yellow clip that hangs off the side of the fuseblock and the MES connector snaps into this. I don't know how you get green wires, every wire in the SRS harness should be grey. It's part of the SRS harness which is covered in a black sheath and wrapped in yellow tape.
When you say you shorted these and the SRS light didn't go off... did you follow the steps I posted in the other thread that are also in the helms? You need to short and unshort in a pattern to reset the unit.

The directions begin with car off, then short connector, then turn key to (II ON) within the first six seconds the light should go off. -but it does not.
What color is your connector ?
