I bought a 90 Accord from a friend to fix up and sell. The only thing wrong with it is that the tranny (it's an automatic) slips when warm. Once it gets warmed up, it is like it is in neutral. Let it sit for a few, and it goes into gear again. Anyone know whats wrong with it?
first replace the fluid with honda atf. If that doesn't work buy a used transmission it will be cheaper that getting that one rebuilt.

in a week i'm gonna have a perfectly good 90 lx auto tranny (130Kmiles) available....if you're interested.....getting the h22a swapped into mine w/ 5 speed tranny, so i think all the goods will be there to go in....the auto axles are 1 month old and new, so if you want it all, i'll basically give it away...lemme know...i'm in north alabama too, by the way
Check your transmission fluid dipstick, if it is black and smells burnt, your transmission is fucked. I too have an extra tranny with only 70,000 miles on it if you are interested. I will let it go for 350 if you interested.
