You obviously don't know what you're talking about.

There is nothing wrong with this idea cause you're boosting so you don't need VTEC, however, realize that the compression ratio of the H22a pistons in the H22a block will go up becuase the H23 combustion chamber is smaller. around .5 points

unless you are planning on using your H23 pistons, in which case the CR will drop a little because of the smaller crank...

and your motor wil rev better.

no no no this is the part you're not getting. You have to match H23 crank with H23 rods, so don't put h23 rods on an h22a crank or your pistons won't make the deck height.

Other than that you will need the H23 tensioner, timing gear and H23 block pieces off your toasted block.

Are you using JE 9:1 H23 pistons? or H22 pistons

the oil pan is the same.

H22a pistons with an H23 head means the CR goes up, or are they H23 pistons??

Well in that case if you are using H23 crank/rods/pistons it is just like an H23 block. Slap on an h23 head and you are rolling....I forget you may have to plug something for VTEC oiling but that's it.

And what's preventing you from sleeving your old block? Or getting a spare H23 block and sending it out to be sleeved? They're a dime a dozen, practically.

He wants something built now ready to go...so the market for built H23 blocks is pretty slim
